Welcome to the...
Atlanta Macintosh Users Group!
Founded in 1984, the Atlanta Macintosh Users Group is a not-for-profit Georgia corporation organized and operated exclusively for the purpose of providing education and assistance to its members in the use of the Apple Macintosh computer and software.
Made up of many members, AMUG consists of Macintosh enthusiasts from a variety of backgrounds: artists, technicians, programmers, designers, consultants, publishers, accountants--users of a variety of Macintosh types and software! This diverse gathering provides a unique resource for Macintosh information, creativity and education.
The Atlanta Macintosh Users Group is a community of Mac and iOS users and enthusiasts. Our monthly meetings features great programs given by knowledgeable presenters on a variety of topics. AMUG Monthly General Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month, usually at Macquarium unless otherwise notified. Macquarium is located at 1800 Peachtree Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30309. Admission is free for everyone, but membership is encouraged.
Membership to the Atlanta Macintosh Users Group is $20 a year ($5 for other family member) and the year starts in January. We have big plans for the future.
Plan to arrive early for the meetings and join us in socializing with fellow members, guests, and occasionally that night's presenter. The meeting itself starts at 7:00 p.m. with a short discussion of Apple news, followed by about thirty minutes of questions and answers from the audience on hardware and software issues. Challenge our experts and see if you can get an answer from one of the experts in our group. Main program to follow the Q and A.
